Assistant Athletic Trainer

West Virginia Wesleyan College welcomes applications for an Assistant Athletic Trainer position. The position is a full time, 10- month appointment. Anticipated responsibilities for the position include sport assignments as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training, athletic training student supervision, serving as a Preceptor within the ATP, and assisting with appropriate CAATE and NCAA reporting documents. Additional responsibilities could include other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training or Associate Head Athletic Trainer. Teaching as an adjunct instructor on campus is an option. Position is expected to assist in supervision and administration of the athletic training facilities operations and activities; assist in the record-keeping of all athletic injuries and rehabilitation progress; and assist in the scheduling of medical appointments for our athletes. Graduate student supervision may also be included within the duties of the position. The assistant athletic trainer must have a commitment to compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Salary is commensurate with experience.
