Welcome the the WVWC Computer Center Remote Assist Utility. This will allow you to request assistance from the WVWC Technology Staff. They will be able to see your screen and control your mouse and keyboard.

Step 1:

Click Here for help...
wvwcrafs.exe

Internet Explorer users click "Run" twice.
Firefox users must "Save to Disk" before opening.

Step 2:

Double click on the appropriate technician's name

The technician will now have control of your machine to provide assistance.

For technicians: Install WVWC-RA
  • Extract the zip file. Install UltraVNC-101-setup.zip
  • Copy MSRC4Plugin.dsm and rc4.key to the folder for UltraVNC (C:\program files\UltraVNC)
  • Copy the UltraVNC Viewer shortcut to your desktop.
  • Double-click on the shortcut to launch the viewer.
  • When a client sends a request for assistance, you will see their machine name, windows version and other relevant information. Click accept to start the session.
