Study Abroad
"Broaden Your Horizons - Study Abroad" Earning a Wesleyan degree no longer necessarily means the traditional eight semesters spent on campus. For a number of students, an off-campus semester abroad provides an exciting and educationally significant alternative that complements on-campus study.
In the last 10 years, 120 Wesleyan students have traveled and studied around the world in full-semester programs. This doesn't include students traveled abroad on faculty-led three week study trips. Students registered for "international semester" have expanded the definition of what graduating from WVWC can mean for the adventurous, motivated and self-managing student.
Destinations for our students abroad have ranged from the far-flung regions of China, Kenya, Egypt, Argentina, Poland, New Zealand and South Africa to explorations in Australia, India, Czech Republic, Uruguay, Korea and Botswana. Wesleyan students have also traveled and studied in more traditional academic destinations including Italy, France, England, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Austria, Norway, Mexico and Wales. |
