- A Sociology major participated in a unique program, traveling to multiple locations in rural India and focusing on women's health issues in classrooms and health clinics. At the same time, she created the foundation for a subsequent hands-on learning experience at The Washington Center for Internships, where she applied knowledge acquired during her Indian semester in a policy-based internship with the Women's Global Health Organization.
