Student Employment Program

The Student Employment Program is intended to offer students the opportunity to seek work on campus in a process which parallels job seeking in non-campus settings. Some features of the program include:

• Every student will have a designated employment award. Some students will elect to earn less, or to split the award between one or more positions.
• Students must identify open positions from listings on-line at the Student Jobs Center. It is the student's responsibility to contact supervisors, and to apply and interview for open positions.
• Supervisors will hire the most qualified students based on job descriptions.
• Departments will have authorized amounts in their budgets for student employment.
• Job seeking guidance is available in the Academic & Career Center.
