Access to your personal WebAdvisor account

All registered students have access to their personal academic information (current course schedule and transcript) on-line via their WebAdvisor account. Please make sure that you can access your account by following these steps:

>Log in to WebAdvisor at www.wvwc.edu/webadvisor

>Click the Log-In button (on the WebAdvisor main screen in the upper right corner) and use the following information:

Username: firstname.lastname [must be in lowercase]

Password: LAST six digits of your social security number [you will be prompted to change your password upon log-in]

NOTE: If you have logged in before and forgotten your password click on the What’s Password link and click reset my password, enter your last name and ssn# using the dashes. Select your campus email address on the dropdown menu and click submit. A temporary password will be sent to your campus email account. Use this to log in.

Verification of academic advisor

All academic advisors have access to their advisees academic information via WebAdvisor. ONLY the advisor of record will be able to access a student’s record. Please verify that your current academic advisor is CORRECT. Please check your current academic advisor of record by logging in to your WebAdvisor account and accessing the My Profile option. If you need to change your advisor to reflect your current major, please stop by the Academic & Career Center to pick up a Change of Advisor card to complete as soon as possible.

Paper copy grade reports

The Registrar’s Office no longer mails a paper copy grade report home. Students will need to view grades on-line via their WebAdvisor account. It will be up to you to share a copy of your on-line grade report or provide your parents with on-line access. Any student wishing to request a paper copy grade report must complete a Grade Report Request Form available in the Registrar’s Office or on-line at www.wvwc.edu/stu/accenter/registrar.asp.
