Transcript Requests
An official copy of the academic record is called a transcript and bears the signature of the Registrar. Only the Academic & Career Center is authorized to prepare and issue official transcripts. Cost is $5 per transcript, payable in advance (check or money order). Each request for transcript must be made in writing or by fax. Federal law requires that the signature of the student appear on the request. Phone or email requests are not accepted. An application for a teacher's certificate completed by the College constitutes a transcript. Normal time for transcript processing is 4 working days.

If the Business Office has placed a hold on the student's record based on an unpaid balance, no transcript will be issued until the financial obligation to the college has been taken care of. For questions regarding a financial hold, please contact the Business Office.

Application for Degree
At least 12 months prior to anticipated completion of degree requirements, each candidate for a degree is required to file an Application for Degree at the Academic & Career Center. Requirements still to be met may then be scheduled while there is time to make appropriate adjustments. A copy of the degree audit is sent both to the student and to the student's academic advisor. A charge of $50 is made for failure to comply with this regulation. Such failure may also result in postponement of graduation.
