Mission Statement for the Barnhart Memorial Health Center

Our mission is to provide West Virginia Wesleyan students with top quality primary health care in a safe environment. We adhere to the guidelines set forth by the American College Health Association, Center for Disease Control, and NCAA. We strive to enhance learning and promote a healthy lifestyle. Further we are advocates for our students in all health related areas.

The Barnhart Memorial Health Center is dedicated in lasting memory of Stella LaZelle Barnhart, a native of West Virginia. The Board of Trustees of West Virginia Wesleyan College, the faculty and staff, students, and alumni express their gratitude for her generosity and to her friends who made it possible to construct and memorialize this Health Center.
