Both incoming freshmen and
on-campus students rightly ask these questions: “Why should I join
the Honors Program? Is it difficult to complete? Are courses so
difficult that I risk a loss of grade point average if I take a
challenging course?” Good questions –and here are some answers.
First, courses in the Honors Program meet general studies
requirements; thus, the Honors Program fits in easily with a student’s required courses. In addition, professors see Honors
courses as an opportunity for intellectual enrichment and design
courses to facilitate this goal. And why else should you join
Honors? Please consider these ten good reasons to become a member of
