we have a common history and emphasize the values of their organization, but
are independent. You do not have to be
a boy scout in order to join the fraternity. Are women allowed in
Alpha Phi Omega? Yes; women were first
allowed in Alpha Phi Omega 1976 at the National Convention in Atlanta. What is the Motto for

cardinal principals of Alpha Phi Omega? Leadership, Friendship,
& Service What are the five
areas of service? Service to the
Brotherhood, Service to the Community, Service to the Nation, Service to

want to join Alpha Phi Omega? You can contact Nikki
Williamson, our current Vice-President of Membership Can I use non-APhiO
projects to count for my service projects? Absolutely
– you can “grandfather” in projects – that is, if you do a
non-APhiO-affiliated service, you can submit that to Michael J. Landis, the
Vice-President of Service for consideration as a service project. Just drop
him an e-mail detailing what you did, for how long, where, and any other
details you find pertinent, and he’ll let you know if it’s applicable or not. |
