Try-Out Information

Try-Outs will be judged on two chants, a cheer, and a short dance which will be taught in a try-out clinic three days before try-outs. Potential cheerleaders will also be judged on personal appearance, jumps, gymnastics, motion technique, timing, and overall ability. Candidates will be judged on a zero to five point scale, and the top scores will be chosen. The judges’ decisions will be final and up to nine girls may be accepted.

An absence of a practice before game day will result in a suspension of that game with the cheerleader attending the game in full uniform and sitting out. An unexcused absence of a game will result in suspension of the next two games, requiring the cheerleader to still attend practices and the two games in full uniform. Tardiness to either practices or games in not tolerated, and a valid excuse must be given to the captains before practice or the game.
