Rev. Dr. Ken Ramsey ’84 to Deliver Chapel Service

West Virginia Wesleyan College Homecoming and Presidential Inaugural activities are set to begin on Tuesday, October 10 with featured Chapel speaker the Rev. Dr. Ken Ramsey ’84 in Wesley Chapel at 11 a.m. He is the Senior Pastor of Bridgeport United Methodist Church in Bridgeport, WV.

He previously served as the Wesleyan District Superintendent in the West Virginia Annual Conference and served Wesley United Methodist Church in Morgantown and The United Methodist Temple in Clarksburg. In 1980, the Rev. Dr. began his career in ministry as a local pastor on the Frenchton Charge in Upshur County while working his way through college. He will be inducted as a new member of the Wesleyan Board of Trustees during Founders Day convocation on Friday, October 13 at 3 p.m. in Wesley Chapel.

A 1984 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, he earned his master of divinity degree in 1986 from Emory University, Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, and his doctor of ministry degree in 1991 from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH.

The service is open to the public.
