Students are invited to participate in the 15th Mid-Atlantic Undergraduate Research Conference at West Virginia Wesleyan College, which will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prize money of $500 will be shared by conferees responsible for the finest submissions.
To propose a paper or presentation, students must first complete a registration form and attach a 250-word abstract explaining your research before March 2. A faculty or staff member must approve the research project prior to submission. Forms and abstracts can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 2.
The product of all academic disciplines is welcome, and submissions need not be traditional research papers. Submissions for presentation at the conference should reflect the level of excellence typical of upper level seminar classes and should not exceed 15-minute presentation times.
New additions to this year’s presentations include an unjudged presentation where students can give the same presentation they may normally give but without the added pressure of competition and a poster session where students can present their research in poster form.
