Wesleyan Takes Part in Higher Education Day at the Capitol

On Tuesday, January 23, representatives of higher education institutions across West Virginia gathered for Higher Education Day at the Capitol in Charleston, WV. This annual event recognized West Virginia’s colleges and universities and highlighted the far-reaching postsecondary opportunities available across the state.

West Virginia’s public four-year and two-year colleges and universities, along with independent four-year institutions, were represented. The event was hosted by Paul Hill, chancellor of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission; Sarah Tucker, chancellor of the Community and Technical College System of West Virginia; and Rebecca Ceperley, executive director of West Virginia Independent Colleges and Universities.
