The Student Success Center at West Virginia Wesleyan College will host a Career and Graduate fair on Thursday, September 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the French A. See Dining Hall.
With only 40 spots available for professional companies, the deadline for registration is Thursday, September 20. The fair provides an opportunity to meet outstanding WVWC students who think critically, act responsibly, and communicate effectively.
During previous years, the Student Success Center held a similar fair that solely focused on internships. By expanding the event, the Center is hoping to promote shadowing, internship, and post-graduate job opportunities, as well as graduate programs that align with Wesleyan’s pre-professional tracks and academic majors.
As part of this endeavor, the Center is also hosting several sessions in the weeks leading up to the main event. This includes: “Clothes for Pros – Dressing for Success,” “Pop-up Resume Review,” and “Elevator Pitches in the Elevators.” The Student Success Center will prepare students to meet the organizations in a professional manner.
