West Virginia Wesleyan College will hold SPACE day to celebrate Fun in Science and Space Exploration on March 31 in the Auxiliary Gym in Rockefeller Center from 1 to 3 p.m. In conjunction with Wesleyan, the event is organized by the College’s SPACE Club and Engineering Physics Society.
This event is free to the public.
There will be activities and competitions for all ages, including a paper airplane contest and a hydrofoil contest with over $200 in prizes to award.
Other events include building a model Solar System, designing and launching bottle rockets, building science toys, and face painting. There will also be many science demonstrations, including a Tesla coil.
The awards ceremony for the competitions will take place at 2:30 pm.
