It led her to schools in Southwestern Ohio and Southern California in the 1950s; to Montgomery County, Maryland, in 1960-89. Margie instilled a joy for reading in six young grandchildren, as with her daughter and son, their parents, years earlier. Upshur County Read Aloud and Literacy Volunteers benefitted from her reading initiatives in 1990. West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Learning Center established a program using Lindamood-Bell®*Methods in 1992 and trained her as a reading clinician.
