5-Year Master of Athletic Training

West Virginia Wesleyan offers students the opportunity to start a future in athletic training with a 5-year Master of Athletic Training (MAT). One of the few MAT programs among its peer colleges and universities in West Virginia, Wesleyan’s program offers curriculum both in the classroom and in a clinical setting, providing students with a unique, hands-on preparatory education for a future in the athletic training profession. Students may pursue the 5-year dual degree option (BS/MAT) or those with an earned bachelor’s degree may apply as a graduate student into the MAT program.

What Could a Future in Athletic Training Look Like?
