Go ahead, join! Through student organizations, students will meet others with similar interests, learn about different perspectives, gain practical skills, take on leadership roles, be introduced to networking and potential career building opportunities, and fill that social calendar. Don’t be afraid to try something new and to share your talents and voice with the campus community. On the flip side, we also advise you not to spread yourself too thin. Students are encouraged to find a healthy balance between their academic coursework and co-curricular involvement. Find what you love, and find an outlet to do it here at West Virginia Wesleyan.
