On May 6, 2020 the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights issued new regulations mandating how West Virginia Wesleyan College and other colleges and universities must investigate and adjudicate sexual misconduct cases under Title IX, the federal statute that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity.
West Virginia Wesleyan College’s revised interim policy and procedures went into effect on August 14, 2020.
