Why did you choose to attend WVWC: From the moment I first stepped on campus, I felt a true desire from the faculty and staff to create the best experience possible for me. My advisor has worked closely with me to develop a strong learning plan and also find career opportunities. I fell in love with this personal learning environment and wide array of opportunities Wesleyan has and knew it would help me flourish.
What advice would you provide incoming students: Do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and take advantage of every opportunity to be involved on campus. This is how you will meet some of the best people at Wesleyan and truly see what all the college has to offer.
What do you love most about WVWC: The community feel that radiates on and off campus. Wesleyan creates such a strong campus-wide environment that makes students feel truly at home and continue this connection post-graduation. Whether I am talking to a member of the campus-community or an alumnus, I feel a bond to them like no other.
What are your future plans after WVWC: I hope to attend graduate school and eventually teach History or Political Science at the collegiate level. I want to be an impactful and supportive source for my students, just as the faculty at Wesleyan has been for me.
