West Virginia Wesleyan College invites applications for an assistant professor in communications studies position for the 2019-2020 school year.

Qualifications

The possibility of a tenure-track appointment is dependent on the qualifications of the applicant. Experience teaching digital media communications is preferred, and an understanding of digital media communications in a liberal arts environment is required. The incumbent will be ready and willing to contribute to the curricular updating of the communications major. A Ph.D in media communications is preferred, and ABD or significant professional experience will be strongly considered. The successful candidate will need to be able to teach a wide variety of undergraduate classes, ranging from media theory to media production.
