The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at West Virginia Wesleyan College seeks a broadly-trained biologist to serve as biology instructor. Teaching responsibilities may include introductory biology for majors and non-majors, human anatomy and physiology lecture and laboratory, environmental science, microbiology, or other courses depending on the expertise of the applicant. Additional duties as required may include laboratory preparation, equipment maintenance, and supervising student assistants. Active participation in the biology and environmental studies curriculum is expected. Candidates with experience in implementing innovative pedagogy across the biology curriculum are strongly encouraged to apply.
