The Assistant Soccer Coach for West Virginia Wesleyan is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in building and maintaining a successful NCAA Division 2 women’s soccer program. Key duties include, but are not limited to, recruiting potential student-athletes, developing the team both on and off the field, liaising with academic and other departments on campus, organizing and assisting with camps and clinics, administration and coordination, coaching small groups and the full team during training sessions, conditioning, scouting, video editing, travel arrangements, overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes, fundraising and development, public relations, and any other duties as assigned.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and have a thorough understanding of collegiate soccer programs. Candidates must possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a willingness to travel, work weekends and evenings when required is essential.
