Your Home Among the Hills

“There’s a land of rolling mountains where the sky is blue above. And though I may roam, I hurry home to those friendly hills I love…”

You may have only roamed these sidewalks for a few years, but you are a Bobcat for life. Your engagement, involvement, and support make a difference in the lives of those after you.

    Important announcement about Homecoming 2021

    Dear Wesleyan Alumni,

    Out of an abundance of caution for our students, campus community, and alumni, we have decided to move Founders Day and Homecoming weekend to April 22-24, 2022. This decision comes after consultation with Alumni Council members and other alumni stakeholders after collectively reviewing these statistics and trends:

    • West Virginia has the highest rate of COVID infection in the nation;
    • Upshur County & Buckhannon has the highest rate of COVID infection in West Virginia
    • Projections that the rate of COVID infections in WV will not likely peak until the week of Homecoming;
    • The rate of breakthrough infections in Buckhannon, Upshur County, and among Wesleyan students; and
    • The far below average number of registrations and the number of alumni who indicated are not going to attend Homecoming due to COVID concerns.

    For those of you who have registered for Homecoming, we will be sharing information about refunds and April registration options shortly.

    Within the next few weeks, we will be sharing our plans for Founders Day, class reunion events, and the entire Homecoming weekend schedule.  Please watch your mailbox, email, and social media pages for additional information.

    We are sorry for any inconvenience this schedule change may have caused, but look forward to having a great celebration of your return to campus April 22-24.

  • Transcripts

    Students who are attending or have attended West Virginia Wesleyan College are entitled to an official transcript of the work they have completed, provided they have cleared all outstanding accounts. West Virginia Wesleyan College uses Parchment as its trusted agent for processing official transcript requests. This process is completely secure. Transcript delivery method options include U.S. Mail delivery or electronic delivery (PDF format).  Current West Virginia Wesleyan College students can view and download their unofficial transcripts via WebAdvisor or Self-Service. Once a student is no longer enrolled, the College does not process requests for unofficial transcripts.

    In order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), all transcript orders require authorization through the establishment of a Parchment account.  Transcripts are $10 for each electronic delivered copy and $12.50 for each paper copy. Charges are applied at the time the order is placed. Requests are typically processed in 2-3 working days following approval by the Office of Student Accounts.  FedEx requests for domestic and international shipping require additional charges.
