The Student Success Center’s goal is to make sure all of our students have the support needed to be as successful as possible while at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Our SSC advisors do this through programming designed to empower students in three key areas: Academics, Engagement and Belonging, and Self-Advocacy, and Support Seeking. We aid our students in creating and implementing academic plans to manage their coursework, we help foster a sense of belonging by encouraging students to participate in opportunities on campus with the goal of developing meaningful relationships in our community, and we guide students in the process of learning to advocate for themselves and seek support when needed.
