West Virginia Wesleyan College seeks applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Physics & Engineering for the 2026-27 academic year. A qualified candidate will possess a PhD in Physics, Astrophysics, Engineering, or a closely related field. Postdoctoral training is a plus, but not required. Candidates from any specialty area of Physics will be considered, with minor preference given to those whose scholarship or teaching interests include materials science, solid state physics, or nuclear physics. Candidates with experience teaching undergraduates are especially encouraged to apply. Appointment to tenure track is possible based on the qualifications of the successful candidate and the needs of the institution.
