The Sales Associate of the Bobcat Den is responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, processing transactions, and managing inventory. Key responsibilities involve greeting customers, helping them find merchandise, maintaining a clean store, being able to work independently, handle cash transactions and other duties assigned by the Director and/or the Vice President of Advancement. Desired skills include excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and product knowledge, must have a high school diploma and a flexible schedule. The sales associate reports to the Director of the Bobcat Den.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
● Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers, answer product-related questions. Must be friendly and outgoing.

Sales & Transactions:
● Process purchases using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle returns, and do daily reconciliation at the end of the day.
● Product & Inventory Management:
Maintain stock levels by restocking racks, organizing merchandise, and checking in inventory and product when received.
● Store Maintenance:
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable, which may include creating displays and hanging signs, or moving clothing racks.
● Teamwork & Support:
Coordinate with other team members to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times, and work well with others. Must be honest and trust worthy.

● Availability:
Needs to be available for afternoons, evenings and weekends for special events and sporting events.

● Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk, stand, reach for items and move racks and stands.

● Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience in sales and retail.
