BUCKHANNON, West Virginia — A tradition of Spring Sing, students voted for Spring Sing Royalty. who were crowned Saturday by West Virginia Wesleyan College President Dr. James Moore and First Lady Jessica Moore.

Kristen Hicks ‘26, an elementary education major from Parsons, West Virginia and Paige Shaffer ’26, a pharmaceutical science major from Thomas, West Virginia, received the honors. Hicks is a member of Alpha Delta Pi and served as chair of Greek Week. A Service Scholar, she is a member of the We Lead Appalachian Impact team and a tutor for the education department. Shaffer is a Service Scholar, Student Ambassador, Delight community service leader and member of Alpha Delta Pi.

The members of the senior court include:

Ashton Nardella ‘26, of Bridgeport, West Virginia, is a media communication and musical theater double major. An active member of the theater department, he is also the assistant editor-in-chief of The Pharos.

Caden Carpenter ‘26, of Morgantown, West Virginia,  is a biology premed major with minors in chemistry and business. He is a member of the men’s soccer team, vice president of TriBeta and a member of Theta Chi.

Cadie Kittle’26, of Belington, West Virginia, is a biology and English double major, who is involved in Zeta Tau Alpha, the We Lead high tunnel team, TriBeta and PRISM.

Cliff Carpenter ‘26, of Morgantown, West Virginia, is a biology major with a chemistry minor. He is involved in TriBeta and Theta Chi.

Faith Yoho ‘26, of New Martinsville, West Virginia, is a communications major and has been president of Lambda Pi Eta, vice president of Omicron Delta Kappa, general manager of C92 FM, senior class secretary, a member of the women’s golf team and Alpha Delta Pi.

Haden Fincham ‘26, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, is a biology major, who has been involved in the WE Lead High Tunnel team, TriBeta, tutoring, PRISM and Bobcat Entertainment.

Jack Monks ‘26, of Charleston, West Virginia, is a resident director, a member of the Benzene Ring, and a Service Scholar.

Kennedy Marshall ‘26, of Morgantown, West Virginia, is a member of Student Nurses of Wesleyan, Zeta Tau Alpha, Alpha Lambda Delta and End the Cycle.

The Spring Sing Court also included freshman attendant Heath Gilliam ‘29, of Fayetteville, West Virginia. A musical theatre major, Gilliam is a first-year class representative, a member of Theata Chi, Bobcat Entertainment and is active in the theater department including performing recently in “The DeathTrap.”

Sophomore attendant Breanna Waldron ‘28, of Fairmont, West Virginia, is a biology pre-med major, member of the women’s swim team, the Student Senate Vice President, a student ambassador, secretary of Tribeta, and a member of Alpha Delta Pi.

Junior attendant Graci Ketterman ‘27, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, is a nursing major. She is president of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and a Wesleyan Service Scholar.
